OUR PURPOSE AND MISSION

The primary objective of Encompass Canada is to provide value to our Members by:

Advancing the effective use of the products and services of HP and related partners by promoting the free interchange of information and education concerning their use,

Establishing methods and providing channels to facilitate the exchange of relevant information among members, 

Advancing input to HP and related partners on proposed and existing products and services.

Note: The Association has changed its name to Encompass Canada in order to more accurately represent its membership as a national Canadian HP user group. The press release announcing this change in June 2004 is presently located on our CANACU site.

DEVELOPMENT ROAD MAP

We have implemented an ongoing development road map as a planning guideline for our User Group to meet the changing needs of its members and the HP user community in Canada. The road map for our current phase of development involves:

Expanding the Outreach Program 
- Liaison with HP management
- Collaboration with HP technical staff
- Alliance with HP partners

Membership Diversification 
- Modified membership recruitment plan
- Updated membership program

Web Site Growth and Improvements
- Content migration from CANACU site
- Interactive functionality developments
- Creation of Historic Archive site

New Marketing Initiatives
- New technical seminar format
- Branding makeover
- Development of promotional collateral
