Last Call to attend the Rich Marcello Conference Call - December 5th Rich Marcello, Compaq's Vice President and General Manager of the High Performance and Systems Division will host a conference call session with customers from North America to discuss Compaq's Alpha/Itanium strategy and commitment. A discussion regarding the pending merger of Compaq and Hewlett-Packard will also be part of the call. The conference call will not only be a discussion of these two key topics, but a dialogue will be encouraged between customers and Compaq's senior management. Please stay tuned! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Ordering Instructions - OpenVMS Hobbyist Licence In the last issue of the newsletter, we provided information announcing the availability of the OpenVMS Hobbyist Licence through your membership in CANACU. We have provided below the ordering instructions for members who wish to place an order and obtain a copy of the licence. The complete transaction takes place on the OpenVMS site Go to http://www.montagar.com/hobbyist Once on the site, go to the link "Licence Register". This will take you to a licence registration page where you will be required to complete a form You will be required to enter your CANACU membership number on the ordering form If you do not know your membership number, or you are not a member of CANACU, please send an e-mail message to inquire@canacu.org The license is free of charge.
