| FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE January 22, 2007 Encompass Canada Board Appoints Kevin FitzPatrick as New Board Member The Board of Directors of Encompass Canada has unanimously approved its decision to appoint Kevin FitzPatrick as a new member of the Canadian HP user group board. The approval process was carried out through an on-line voting procedure that was in accordance with the user group’s by-laws for nominating new members to the board. Kevin is well known in the HP user group community as an OpenVMS evangelist and a worldwide OpenVMS eBusiness Solutions architect. He has recently joined Bruden-OSSG as Global Business Manager after serving with HP as Senior Solutions Architect for the Transition Engineering and Consulting group as well as an OpenVMS Ambassador. Kevin has 20 years experience with OpenVMS and its related hardware/software and has been an active supporter of Encompass Canada’s seminars. We welcome Kevin in his new position on the Encompass Canada Board and look forward to his ongoing participation in the planning of our technical events.
